I don't know what the mileage is on your bike Dennis, but I've heard the fuel filter sometimes gets dirty enough to restrict fuel flow once you get in the 50-60K mile range. The filter is part of the pump assy, but is able to be bypassed on the older models. I can't do that with mine so I removed it and cleaned it the best I could when I reached 60K or so. This pertains to the 650, not sure if the 1000 is the same.

BTW, the filter in mine is part of the regulator, just over 100 bucks, plus another 30 for the strainer.

Thanks. I don't feel like spending a $100 to find out. So I will explore a few other options. I bought a new usb cable from shitshack. Lets see if that works. I want to see what map its running.

Hey Dennis, Sounds like you are dumping gas but the engine can't spool up quick enough. Didn't you mention a bigger front sprocket had been installed?
