I don't know if this is the right forum for this but I just wanted to post a review of Trailmasters A1200
Adventure bags that go on the crash bars of R1200GSA's

I picked these up just before a 2 week back country trip to Death Valley and Mojave Ca.

I wanted to be able to store my bike cover and Warn Winch accessories somewhere where they would not be buried.

My only concern with these was what would happen if (when) my bike decided to take a dirt nap.

    Well......

Turns out these bags are TOUGH!

But just to be sure I decided to test them some more..

I seem to only crash on the right side for some reason.....

There were two more "incidents" one involving a cactus and another sliding into homebase like the photo above
and the bags came through unscathed.

When I got home I used some needle nose pliers to pull out some thorns and then I threw them in the wash and they
    came out looking like new.

Unfortunately I totaled the bike on that trip (cracked block) but I have a 2012 Triple Black that these bags will look good on.

There will be a DVD coming out this Summer about the trip.

    It is called MotoAmericana "Deserts"

They call it "Death Valley" for a reason :D

    Bob,

I'm sure glad the bags did the trick when laying it down. That wasn't in the design of the bags, but so many of our customers have found out that the bags actually help protect the bike when it goes down. I'm glad they worked out for you. Have fun with your new bike.

Let's review...bike dropped numerous times while exploring the great beyond, check. Bags washed and look like new, check. Bike total while crash testing bags, check. Sounds like everything went swimmingly :freaky
