In and paid. Just to clarify. Will we be coming back to Silverton each day or will we be camping on the road?
The Rendezvous is based in Silverton every night. The San Juan 500 is a point to point ride, just before the Rendezvous. Info for all RMAR events is on RMARiders.org.
We won't be publishing an "IN" list here. Everyone who has made the appropriate donation, via RMARiders.org is "IN". Periodic emails will be sent to those people. So head over to http://www.RMARiders.org and get IN...
At the heart of every adventure rider is the same passion that our forefathers lived as they explored west of the Mississippi, over two hundred years ago as Mountain Men. There were streams to cross and mountain passes to be conquered. Around every corner there was a scene that would take their breath away. These free-spirited souls thrived on solitude, but once a year, they knew they needed to return to a location where like-minded adventurers would gather for supplies and celebration and socialization. This event was “The Rendezvous”. Motorcycle adventure riders are a similar breed. We love our freedom to roam and explore and we cherish the free-spirit we can live on two wheels. It is this passion that motivates Rocky Mountain Adventure Riders to host a gathering, our flagship event. Once a year in the south-west corner of Colorado, in the San Juan Mountains, RMAR riders gather for camaraderie, celebration and phenomenal riding.
Ahhh, John. Waxing poetic again.....it must be snowing in the Springs and you can't get out on the bike! I am IN for the Rendezvous. I am IN for the San Juan 500. And I am IN for the Kokopelli!!!!! You might get sick of me this year! LOL In all seriousness, I simply can't wait and am in the garage making sure EVERYTHING is ready and ship-shape. Come on Spring!!!!!
Ashville. Awesome country! Congrats on getting out of Florida. Does this mean you love skinny trails now?
Crap. I guess not. All of the vacation slots are full for the end of July. So my request won't get approved.
Reservations made at Red Mountain, lower RV sites the uppers were all taken. Donation made and signed up! I met a few of you last year when I was staying there (Sprinter RV in site 9), looking forward to not riding by myself in the San Juans
