To answer questions about tires and such - these are not bad roads, most street bikes can go through this area. A friend was up there a couple of weeks ago on his Strom before we had some rain and said it was a bit loose then. Yesterday there was just enough moisture in the road bed to make it just right. There is no need for big ass knobbies. My buddy that was with me yesterday was on an airhead GS with some fairly worn out Metzlers.

This event really does need a name.

We could call it 'The One That Uncle Larry Bailed Out Of At The Last Second With Some Incredibly Lame Excuse.'
