I attended a week long media junket on RawHyde's World of Adventure for an article I'm writing for Adventure Moto Magazine. The trip included a "no-rules" comparison of 6 fully equipped 2014 adventure bikes. Without giving too much away from my story, it was bad ass to really run these bikes through the trenches to see their strengths and weaknesses in different terrain. We rode: KTM 1190 ADV BMW GS 1200 H20 2 YAMAHA Super Tenere's (both with different mods) Triumph Tiger 800 XC Triumph Tiger Explorer 1200 XC Low and behold just yesterday, RawHyde announced North America's only off road demo program for current model bikes to be tested by you, the consumer IN THE DIRT. Check out Jim Hyde's announcement and the details of the new program. There's nothing else like it in North America... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8W9aF2q-jFE&feature=youtu.be <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/8W9aF2q-jFE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> http://youtu.be/8W9aF2q-jFE
Looks like a great program! I'm betting it will be wildly successful. Good luck Jim, Keith Hull, owner www.RentAlaska.com
Going this summer. Deciding on a bike. I have been torn between a 1200 GS with off road upgrades and 1200 GSA. I have not ridden either one. I rode small two stroke Honda's all over the Southern Amazon Jungle for a few years - these new Enduro bikes all seem so HUGE, and amazing! I am lusting and wanting and wondering which one I will choose.
