While this is nowhere near as good as the BRP roadsign, it's still one of my favorites. What are some of yours??
The highway between Maricopa, AZ and Gila Bend, AZ is known by locals as "dead cow highway" because of the toll late night traffic takes on range cattle. Yeah, cattle still wander the range in some areas out here. Anyway, the Highway Dept decided to put up some warning signs: I've never ridden that stretch of road without seeing at least on departed bovine by the side of the road.
Hi Rob, No, that pic was taken in the Ochoco National Forest in Oregon off of Hwy 26. I was enroute to the Painted Hills Nat'l Monument at the time - probably about 20 miles west of Mitchell would be my guess. I can't remember the exact road and this was before I had GPS so no track to refer back to (life was hard before GPS!) - Brian
