I posted a thread on Soviet Steeds here:http://www.sovietsteeds.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=22029 ...but thought I'd post some pictures here as well. Hope you like it.
What are the sidecar lights off? They look very good and would probably meet regulations here and would certainly suit my current project.
I have the same lights on my rig, they are generic Hella ag tractor lamps. taillight, left #00.314 12.03 (has license plate illumination lens) taillight, right #00.314 12.05 FYI, the lower red light will need to be modified to have both tail light and brake light function.
Talk about a clean machine. Very neat. This is one the things I like so much about the Ural, you can add as much as it will take or clean it down to what it was once.
They really are a blank canvas. With modern bikes, it's really not that easy to pare it down to the basics.
J-dub, what color was it to start? Did you ratle can it yourself or have it done? I really like it, just wondering if my Camo bike might look good that way as it's been rattle canned in a few places.
The lights should come from the factory like that. IIRC the stockers were built for Russian farm equipment.
Thanks, Matt. Hopefully someday you and Kris can make it out this way and we can get out for a ride. After the world tour, of course!
I'm most impressed with the dog, same expression every time. Of course, the bike is awesome. Would be cool to have a garage set up like that to park your Ural in.
