Got some clean up work on my trailer, think I'm finally happy with it. Upgraded all of the lights, cleaned up wiring, and added a bungee net to the lid in hopes of stuff not bouncing around.

    Shelby. Work in Belmont.

You should plan on the "EOM" (Eastern Owner's Meeting) in Lewisburg WV in Sept. There are 5-6 of us from the Carolinas heading up.

I need your expertise....as I know little about these....but have always thought they were the best looking S.T. anyway I have a line on a 2006 FJR original owner 7700 miles...I know low miles isnt always a good thing....anyway cruise control (not manual) v stream sheild stain tunes or original exhaust 7 with stain tunes 65 w/o.... good deal? any problem areas with this year?? Thanks!!

A little high, but in the right general range for extremely low miles. I would want to keep the exhausts at 6500, and wouldn't feel I was insulting him with a $6k offer.

2006 has recalls for an ECU that will be free, and a ground spider recall. The 2006 and 07 are known for having an abrupt throttle response that can be mitigated with a G2 Throttle tube. Overall a great bike.

Doors anyone know of a good comparison written up between the FJR and the BMW R1150RT. I have an RT that I really like but I was looking at the FJR at this years motorcycle show and was really impressed. My RT is getting up there in miles and agree and it might be time to move to a new bike soon.

Never mind, the OPs beat me to it. Be there or be square!

    ^^^^^

If you'd like to ping me with RT vs FJR questions, I can give you my 0.02; that was the decision I made when I bought mine two years ago.
