Got back at lunchtime, only there from dinnertime last night so not much info, just thought you guys might like the pics I took.
Apologies for scant info, just popped the pics up. The Martello white chair on the k100rs was 1985, the guy bought it new, it was lovely. EML rear wheel he said, copy of bmw stock rim, but 15inch.
Thanks, nice pictures, look like a pleasant gathering. I can only see the front wheel of the K100, but to me it looks like the cut a standard wheel and welded a new car rim onto it.
Wow....some nicely sorted out rigs. Looks like it was a fun gathering. My roots are from the Isles.....hope to come there some day. Great Grandfather was a "Trogdon" from Scotland Grandfather was a "Fitzgerald" from Ireland. Grandmother was a "Bennett" from England.
Thanks guys, only there long enough to pitch a tent, get drunk, wake, pack, and ride home at lunchtime. When I explained I was getting snaps for the yanks, I got some real odd looks. bmwhacker My dads a borderman, hes from northumbria, above hadrians wall but below the scot border, we have some cousins from the isle of man too. Drop by if you visit. My Dad. A real grumpy bastard, that ill miss like hell when he goes.

My god what anice batch of rigs. Its really amazing how many have the UNIT front ends.My hats off to you guys...
Nice pics, thanks for putting them up. I have one question for the UK & US rally goers... Who mows the grass before you all turn up? The only place we get flat, cut grass is at a showground and then only if it's in a big town.
