I hope this is encouraging people to ride motorcycles and go to rallies. This is a community service you know. Brothers from another mother.
20mm here Tom, & it hasn't stopped completely yet, glad I didn't move from the homestead this weekend, don't feel guilty @ all!! Cheers Baza
Around 40 people turned-up and braved the warm sunny weather Friday and Saturday. A little rain (guess around 10mm) Sunday morning dampened some of the spirits and the camp fires. We were last ones out (following Bob and Sue) at around 9:30am. Good spot, better company and a great weekend. Thanks Monarchs. Pity some of the soft cocks and limps dicks paid too much attention to the weather forecasts ...........
Well Saturday was good, Sunday was crap, both weather related. Finally got away at 10am Sat, only an hour after our planned departure time. Good riding weather with enough overcast to cut down on the glare, no wind and dry rolling roads. Good way to get the day started. First stop was Purvis Rd turn off west of Yallourn Nth. Hmmm, might be a wee bit overloaded, as usual. The road into Angusvale gave some great views First sight of the camp ground Road down to camp site. Got to the Rally about 2.30pm, only took us 4.5 hours to do 220kms. Top spot to camp You can tell Rallyists are getting old when they have use bikes for the tug of war. Pete getting ready to play silly buggers Set Go Love these cooking stands Had a top afternoon & night, upset Williamson with our hats that Linda made, lots of bullshit was spoken, alcohol was consumed, staggered of to bed when the rain started in the early hours of Sunday. Woke up to a steady rain the had been going for at least 3 hours, packed up very wet camp gear, left and got rained on most of the way home. The BOM got the forecast right for this one. Saw this on the wall of the Toilets at Redesdale on the way home So Sat was a good day, but Sun will be expunged from the memory. .
