Installation Instructions for OEM Adventure Racks for 2005 R1200GS?

I'm removing my varios and putting on Globescouts. I bought a used adventure OEM rack from the fleabay and am looking for installation instructions. Anyone have them? Thank you.

I just did the same thing with my 2011 GS. I couldn't find instructions, so I just used the Parts Fiche at maxbmwmotorcycles.com as a guide.
Just be careful as the parts in illustrations aren't exact. The part descriptions do appear to be correct though.

That should do it. Did you use red or blue threadlocker?

Blue. Red is a pain if you ever need to remove anything.

Can you install the adventure side racks without removing the plastic plate that the passenger seat rests on? Or do I need to buy another piece from the adventure kit to utilize the passenger seat. I can't see a way to mount the new rack without removing that plastic piece.

Edit: I was missing spacers from my eBay purchase. Problem solved.

Encountered some nice? RED thread locker on the hardware on the bottom of the GSA TOP CASE.
Used by the FACTORY...for sure.
Yep, took a HEAT GUN on HIGH to remove the 10 bolts/nuts.:huh

Removed the hardware so I can directly mount it to a PILLION PLATE (BestRestProducts).
