Just wanted to share one of the many spectacular things that happened at my trip to race Rally WV 2012 at Snowshoe Mountain WV this past weekend. Check out the whole race thread
    here.

And my spectacular deer encounter here:

Disclamer: This is a closed road with race staff watching every point of entry to prevent any traffic. I don't condone crossing the yellows when riding open roads.

    No major injuries, I hope?

I guess I should report that due to ATGATT philosophy I came away without even a bruise. Hard shell knee guards and a full armor top under the jacket kept me unbroken.

I was still on the clock for that stage of the rally so I wanted to get to the finish ASAP. I would have pushed it to the finish if I had to. I bet some spectators would have joined in since there was only like 1/4 mile left.

I'm sure it wasn't funny at the time, for you, but I can't help laughing every time I watch that. F*ck, that was awesome. You never skipped a beat.

No comments about crossing a double yellow and going around a curve in an oncoming lane! :eek1

That was an awesome video nonetheless.. It should be captioned " like a boss" when you tore ass away! :rofl

Here's an example of what most of the stages look like....only two of thirteen were tarmac....the rest look like this but longer. Wicked fun!
