Hi, New to scooter scene, picked up a 1966 vespa sprint from a buddy. Pretty good shape just needs some sorting. Rode it home and lights worked, now they don't. Figured out positions on light switch but think it's a key position issue. Seems to have at least 5 positions, why is beyond me. Any ideas? Thanks guys. Jeff

I was hoping you could follow the wires from each position and see what each one was for.
Also trying to encourage you to look for info rather than just ask.

However, maybe a browse through this site linked below may help you better.

Firsthand experience working on a 100 Sport and owning a P200E was the wiring insulation lacked proper plasticizers and would literally turn to powder when handled. If the insulation shows signs of breaking down, that is a problem. Last I knew, the 100 Sport still sits in a fellows basement 7 years later needing a new harness. Did manage to run/splice some decent wiring in place of the faulty P200E wiring.
