    MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE !!!

Well even though I had no tree, wreath or presents to open this year it still might be the best Christmas ever for me...

My son Tony (now sober for two years) has the sound of hope in his voice when he speaks of the future...

I got a new knee after two tries from the Daton VA...

I found that I have a lot of good friends so THANKS to...

Dave Olmstead who brought me a whole bag of food and called to check to see if I needed anything.

Chriss Luke who stoppped by everytime he was in Columbus to stay and talk a while.

Rob who called and talked for about 45 min to catch up on whats happening.

Mike Jenkins who called and came by every week to check on me and bring a big stack of mags each time.

Tom May who dropped what he was doing to come fix mt furnace when I got back because it had stopped working.

And to everyone who posted to wish me well.

But a very special THANK YOU to Shawn Tofte who has driven over 1000 miles to take me to the VA.,came over or called everyday to see if I was OK or needed anything.

Yep,all in all, this might have been my best Christmas ever!!! (Sometimes you just don`t know how lucky you are.)

That's the Japanese Christmas when the stork delivers Yamahas. Everyone knows it's easter, at least my neighbor thinks it is...

Merry Christmas everyone, the snow is gently falling outside, my family is happy and healthy, and the fridge is full of beer.

    :1drink

Hope everyone has a great holiday, and most of all I hope the weather shoots up to 66 right after a hard rain, so we can all enjoy a day of riding on salt free roads. Amen.

I bought one of those to make fake-ID's in college, they used to be easy to do (especially if you worked for a lithography company).

Craig McLovin drank a lot of beer before he was 21.

    Merry Christmas everyone!

Years ago I finally completed the arduous task of convincing all sides of the family that since I'm "so hard to shop for" it's just better to give me some cash and save yourself the worry. So I'm trying to convince myself not to by a gadget and to save for my next bike. We'll see how it goes... (edit: I did get myself an early present in the form of a Mossberg 500 Home Defense to keep next to the couch while I'm laid up:evil)

In the "what actually matters" department, I'm alive and home to see the looks on the boys' faces when they open the gifts and bounce up and down in excitement. That kind of excitement won't last for too many more years.

You are so right about that. Daughter is almost 18, son is 24. They appreciate the gifts, but not waking me up at 5am screaming that Santa was here anymore. Enjoy it while you can.

Reading the individual stories of those with blessings this time of year is great.:clap Larry, what a relief it has to be to finally have the knee done! Shawn, you are the man for playing getaway driver for Larry! Brandon, I'm so happy you are home to share the blessings of this season with your wife and family. Swing, better get the next show started? And to everyone else who I've had the honor to meet, ride with, or just talk the talk in here with, I pray your individual blessings are great and give you reason to be happy and thankfull.

Me? I'm just happy I got to sleep in instead of trucking off to the gym to keep working on the leg.:lol3

    Merry Christmas Everyone.:D
