Does anyone here know the accuracy of the Forma Adventure boot sizing? Or...even better, does anyone here know how they compare in size to a Sidi Discovery Rain boot? I ran a 47 in the Sidi Discover Rain and have seen some "anecdotal comments" about Forma ADV boots running a bit small, suggesting I should consider going up one size to a 48. Any input would be greatly appreciated - it would save me a ton of back and forth in shipping a large, heavy box.

    Thanks in advance

I have the Forma ADV boot and ordered the 46 Euro size
Think this equates to an 11 US ?
    ( Im a 9.5 to 10 sizing usually - New Zealand )

They are on the bigger side for me - wear 2 pairs of socks to be comfortable for winter
Summer riding I wear 1 pair
My Gaerne road boots are also 46 Euro but are a slightly plusher fit
    Both are Italian designed
I see the Forma boot is made in Romania
    The Gaerne - Italy
    Hope thats of some help

I have Forma boots 43 and Sidi Adventure GoreTex in the same size. The difference between the two is that the Formas are slightly shorter, but quite a bit wider. The Sidis are slightly narrow for me, but as they are still comfortable and leather boots that will break in slightly I'm not worried.

So, I would say the Forma boots I have run slightly short, but wide.

Thank you everyone - this helps. What I am hearing is in fact that the Forma boots are a tad on the short side for their advertised size.

    Cheers

not sure who you are buying through but Atomic Moto has a thread in the vendors section. There is a bunch of info on sizing in there, and I am sure that if you post they will tell you what size to order.
I am going with some new formas for this year through them

I've worn a 47 boot for 25 years and ordered a 47 in Forma (not adventures though) and they fit perfect.
    Never had Sidi though.

They run a bit short but are wide. About 1/2 a size shorter I would say.

I was told to order a size bigger than my usual 43 when looking online, but then got the chance to try some on, and the 43 was a perfect fit.

I love the things BTW. I did have a leak in one boot. They replaced them same day. Cant ask more than that.

    Good luck.
