great stuff. hopefully some of the photoshop wizards will stop by and take a look. a few of these pics will really clean up when they do their restor magic to them. I read your previous thread about your racing past. great stuff also. keep those vintage shots coming.

    Great pics and great bikes

RS and 90S maybe 2 of the best bikes made by BMW... Maybe I told that because I've got a RS :D

    From the web:

"Paul was an amazing man. He was a motorcycle racer in his early years, and still loved riding well into his 70's and beyond when I knew him. He was the kind of person who literally wrung every last drop of "special sauce" out of life. The kind of person with a zest for life that could change anyone he met. At an advanced age (82?), he did a cross-country ride this past fall.

Yesterday morning, he succumbed to cancer. Dearest "OLD FART", "MAESTRO", and "BMW Salesman Extraordinaire": Godspeed and keep the shiny side up. There is no shortage of lives that you've changed that will miss you very much."

Sounds like he was quite a guy.

Those pix are absolutely priceless. I'm with however many others who only wish they could have heard firsthand, some stories from this person. Obviously, there were plenty there from his decades of motorcycling.
RIP, Mr Mihalka. Wherever you go from here, may you go in peace.

    Paul was the real deal.
Soft spoken as many of the great ones are.
I could listen to him comment on all things moto for hours and
ALWAYS picked up a bit of wisdom IF I was paying attention. :D
He will be missed by all who knew him.
