Had time this last week to get away for another few days before winter really shows in force, so we did. Found snow above 7,000 feet.

Topped out at 9,744 feet and 37 degrees F before dropping down to the desert where it was about 15 degrees warmer.

Made Goblin Valley State Park our farthest point. Wish I had bothered to take a photo or two of us slogging through loose red sand east of the park by Molly's Castle. Would have fit right in with some of the photos on previous pages in this thread. I just never think of it when my hands are full in those situations.

    That is just awesome.
Thats exactly what I wanted to do to my R with the rear tanks but ended up with the Safari purely for the cost and convenience reasons (mostly cost!)

Just got back from the Snowy's last night

I already knew that the KTM 990 was a dirtbike and a trials bike, but now it's also a snowmobile. With some fresh knobbies on fresh powder we were surprised how far we were able to take it in the snow.
Great ride this weekend with Vasile on the Whipsaw trail in Princeton, BC.

What an awesome photo, right there!

I'm always impressed and inspired by how you constantly push the envelope riding these big bikes.

    Thanks and keep sharing!
