Towpro, the image is a sunrise looking E over the Atlantic, from Frisco NC, 2 miles south of The Point. All the folks on the beach are surf casting.

stayed just a couple miles from there a few years ago. Love it down at the lower end

I've been going there almost every year since 76... Almost every time to Frisco or Hatteras Village. Hard to beat anything south of the Bonner bridge.

W are looking at a little motorhome that could put us in the outerbanks more often.
I mean I love our 30' 5th wheel with 3 slides, but I am the sole driver and the outerbanks is just a little far for a straight threw trip towing over 10K lbs. So now its 4 days round trip, and it just eats up so much time (and my Cummins gets around 10mpg towing that monster down there) (we always stay in Waves.)

Plus the new motorhome could tow the 7x14 V nose bike trailer :).
The wife could also drive this new little motorhome, but she would give me a bunch of crap about pulling the trailer behind it. oh well, one thing at a time.

always wanted to jump across to the mainland from Ocracoke, than put together a back road route, hugging the coast heading north up along pamlico sound, than back down 12 to Waves.

We've been a couple times now, both the week of labor day (off-season, still nice, all the restaurants still open, NO crowds), once in Salvo and once to Frisco. I like Frisco better- last time we towed the horse trailer and Jane and a friend rode, while me and Clark fished and drank beer.

Have I got a deal for you.
