Well it's been three years of planning and now the big day is only two weeks away. I am taking 6 months and riding from St. Albert to Ushuaia Argentina!! I would love to have all of you who can make it join me for a short little ride as I head west out of the city. Normally I'm pretty shy and don't like the spotlight but this is also about a fundraiser for Spinal Cord Injury Research. So we're making my departure something of an event hosted by Riverside Motosports. The ride will be about 45 minutes out to Onoway via hwy 37 (paved so all bikes can partake). 2 friends of mine went down to SA this winter with black klr's and for some reason both wore white helmets they said the traffic parted like the seas ahead of them because everybody thought they were cops. I was riding a vstrom wearing a white helmet and that only worked about half the time and that was in the countries the cops rode vstroms . From about half way down Mexico to Ushuiau you'll find your quite an attraction, people will honk, wave take your picture and want to talk to you constantly. . Reading the blog. Keeps me awake at work (don't tell the boss). Almost in California now, riding through some beautiful terrain no doubt, cant wait to see the pics.
