Also a fan. Had them on the KLR back in the day.

I'm running TKC 80s on my WRR now, but I'll probably switch to D606 when they wear down.

That is all I have ever run on my DRZ400S. Best tires ever for that particular bike.

Never run anything else on the rear of my DR650, with MT21 on the front. That combo works really good in the dirt and the pair handle like blazes on the pavement. You will get some noise that some people complain about on the pavement, but it is my heart sound along with the thumper thumping. I can judge the highway speed by the sound of the 606 on the rear.

Love it on my XR. Great durability, even with a fair amount of time on tarmac! Of course, you could find a better road tire!

I tried that combo for the first time with the tires in July to ride the COBDR and absolutely love them. Definitely a confidence booster.

    Hey,

I have been running the Motoz rear tires on a ktm 530exc and a 450exc this summer.

I have been very happy. Lasted way longer than my 606 did, and is a more aggressive tread pattern.

I ride a mix of dirt and slab, with the tubless system.

Tire is a little loud on the slab, but it does rock in the dirt, and I canyon carve just fine .

Pro moto in arvada just got in a shipment of them, i think there maybe 1 or 2 left.

    Hope that helps

This.. I tried a scorp pro on the front this year, didn't hold up to the bike. Sticking with 606's all around from now on.

606 is a good tire and I used to like to run them - that said here are my issues with them

    - They evaporate rapidly - the front is prone to scalloping and must be rotated for direction after a bit to have even ware. I have never gotten much more than 3.5 k out of a set and rode them till the cords showed on the rear.

    - the rear will square off quickly - the roll of the flat when cornering is very noticeable when they get squared off enough.

    - The knobs on several sets were shed very quickly - broke off right to the cords - this means buying a new tire - happened to me on one set on the 1st ride they were installed - I haven't bought a set since.

    pros:

Easiest to spoon on and off of all the tires I have owned.

When they keep their knobs they are a good off road tire.

Although a bit loud on pavement, they ride and handle well - until the squaring sets in at ~ 500 miles.

Going to burn this one up this winter then put another k60 on for next summer.
Might be better on ice / snow.

The only other combo I tried was an Michelin AC10 rear and D606 front. The AC10 didn't last long on the road but it was like velcro on the dirt. 606's are great in any conditions.

I just went the other direction on my KTM 450EXC, removing 606's and installing K60's. It's the only bike I'm taking to AZ for the winter so I wanted more of an all-around tire that would last some miles in case I ride it to Baja. I've run K60's on my R100GS and get 11K miles off the rear and 15K off the front. The 606's on the 450 have no where the life, 5K on the rear and it's bald. The one big area I've noticed is the K60's absolutely suck going thru mud while the 606's just trucked right thru without a slip. For a DOT knobby, you can't beat 606's.

I had a set of 606's on my XR650R. They were new when I bought the bike, so I thought I would just run them until I wore them out and then go to something more "dirt worthy". I liked them so much that I bought another set when the originals wore out. 2 thumbs up!

+1 for the MT21 front and 606 rear. I've tried many combinations but that one always works.

Stay away from the 606 front, they are not so good.

Best I've ever used on the rear for rides that consist of the toughest single track, the fast pavement twisties, and everything in between. I like the MT-21 on the front for the same rides.
