New hazard to me

    Buzzing around the lake this morning, before it got too hot. Just beyond a bump in the dirt road, somebody was nice enough to dig tire-sized holes about 8" deep. Nice thing to find while studying off-pavement techniques, less than 5" from posting in faceplant.
    It really looked as though someone had spun the rear wheels on their truck to see how well the brakes worked up front, just the sort of thing to eat small tires like mine.

    Hell, come on down here and ride. We've got shit like that in paved roads.
