Mmmmm ... did someone say meat? So good ...
My stomach muscles are flexing just at the thought.

The next official "Meat Meet" will be in October at the Fogo De Chao Brazilian Steakhouse in Minneapolis. See here:

Talk about a genius of a restaurant. All you can eat, brought tableside.
This is part two, as the first was held in Kansas City in April.
Why wait so long you say?

I just want to talk meat: steak, chicken, sausage, pork, buffalo, halibut, venison, [insert your favorite here] ... It's all good.

This way we can practice eating all summer.

Well, the place is a bit spendy.
Gives us some time to save up for it.

Hopefully it will be early in the month. And in.

I won't know my schedule until a couple months before October. (it's wife-dependant )

But based on the information I have now, October 3 or 4 looks good.

If it's in October that might be long enough for me to save up enough money to buy my own this time

So I went to Fogo this afternoon with AK Bear from Anchorage, who flew into town this morning.
I think I found heaven on earth.
I'll have to go back soon to make sense of it all.
Lotsa meats; I couldn't keep them all straight.
Of course, I just kept eating. :dg

I'm not sure we can wait 'til October.
Ya'll better pull them couch cushions out and find some money! Let's goooo ...

It is kinda classy though. We ordered the Brazilian beers, right? Came with the frosted stem glass. We just start drinking out of the bottles. Soon attentive "gaucho" whisks over and pours our beers in our glasses and takes the empty bottles. Bear says something to the effect "Not so subtle hint, huh?"

Damn, I forgot to check out the back room.

You guys are makin' me hungry! Hopefully I'll have the Magna back together by then, I am not sure the KLR could haul my ass home after a Brazilian pig-out!

Hey Dave, that was a great meal. Thanks for the ride yesterday, I,ll send you some fish when I get home. Scored some Darian pants on sale this morning, a real find in my size in a discontinued color. Thanks again Bear
