Benefit tonight @ Euro Motion, Denver.

For those who have been following the political mess surrounding INS Agent Cory Voorhis, KHOW Radio's Peter Boyles will be hosting a fundraiser tonight for the man's legal defense.

Location is Euro Motion, 2020 South Broadway (east side, 1 block north of Evans), beginning at 5:30PM tonight, Thursday the 7th. Items will be auctioned, and there will even be a drive-up donation spot there for those who are in a hurry. No alcohol, but pizzas will be available.

This is not primarily a "Biker Event", although motorcyclists will be well represented. Peter Boyles, Tom Tancredo, Tom Martino and other local celebs will attend, as will Mr. Voorhis himself.

And if no other reason compels ya to drop in and contribute, Your-truly, yes, the Handsome, Witty and Worldly Duck_Pilot will attend as well!

I went with the kid and met a bunch of cool people... no duck pilot anywhere that I could see though. At least I didn't see any ducs anywhere. This whole case is scary. :eek1 Political witch hunt and nothing more. The poor guy is getting hung out to dry.

Sorry I missed ya, but glad ya came! We'll get to meet another time, though. I didn't ride 'Lil Duckie, but was there from around 6:30 to 7:45. Pestered Pete Boyles a bit, met Mr. Voorhis and Tom Martino for the first time each. Lotsa good folks there, to be certain. I'm sure USA Biker Nation radio show tomorrow morning (Saturday 2/09) will have info about how much was raised.

I tried to get Pete H. to go but when I went by his place he was gone. I ended up taking to Tom Martino a bit. Seems like a decent guy. Good bunch of folks overall. I hope everything works out in the court case.
