Maps of Cairo ??

I am an Australian living in Cairo, Egypt. I just got myself a Gamin Nuvi 710. I thought all my navigation problems driving around this huge metropolis would be solved. Although it is a great help, all the maps I have found are old and sketchy or only deal with tourist places. Is there such a thing as a decent up to date (ish) map of Cairo I can download?

I know there is one on cGPSmapper ... but it may well be old and touristy .. and you'll need to become conversant with making the preview files so you can use it with mapsource.

And how about making your own? .. Or contributing your tracks to ?

I had a look at that one and I think is't the best one I have found but I can not figer out how to get it on to mapsource. I have also got my hands on a CD (Tracks 4 Africe) I have put that into the GPS but it's very sketchey.

I would like to contribute my tracks as I do spend a lot of time driving around Cairo. I just got to figer out how.
