Chaleco's tracker died at CP2. I just see "00:00:00" for him at the ASS?

EDIT: he has 15 minutes back at CP2, no way he is first now.

While we wait for ASS times, have you seen the stage 2 takes, where a camera at ground level gets knocked about 50 times by bikes quads and trucks? How do they do that? Throw a Gopro away for each take? :scratch

I think (believe) it is a "bug"... maybe he pulled out from CP 2 and taken a main road route to Mhamid... on his arrival (passing) of the finish his transponder has set off the timekeeping?

Based on complicated math analysis I predict a stage win for Kuba Przigonsky.

I agree with this, because its also showing a zero time.

A real pity about Rodriguez. :2cry

Also, I'm not that convinced that anyone apart from Despres, Coma, & Rodriguez can be labelled an alien just yet. The others are all super fast but don't seem to have a lot of consistency and don't dominate. Certainly the field seems to be pretty close on this one, but I think so long as Cyril does not get too lost (or crash :eek1) he will dominate.

Well written and some really good points here Troy. :deal

It's between him or Despres... coincidentally enough, both started well back in the field today and came out smelling roses from the "search for CP1" in the first leg of the special.

Kuba departed DSS 5 minutes behind Cyril and seems to be within a minute behind to the ASS.

Barreda at o kmh = ASS?

Nope: iritrack glitch or unexpected stop for barreda.

Iritrack is faulty : He is moving. Two consecutive positions with zero speed.

They should come out of the vegetation any second now, turn right onto a track and follow it (south) to the finish control more or less now...

I think it may be safe to assume that ASS timing is screwy... ditto on the Iritrack, I think the route superimposed on the map is wrong and further south than it should be...

Not yet (I don't think) the ASS is south of where his ass is at the momement (if the irritrack is to be believed) still no arrivals on the POSIS (except for the phantom Chaleco)
