not mine. just a pic googled. there were quit a few "Trench" variations on google img. too. never was a 1911 fan. big, heavy, limited capacity, Big, Heavy...
I think I'll call this pic, "The best shotgun I ever had but was epically stupid and sold it." I bought one in the early 90's, not too long after I turned 21. Mine was semi auto. I have a much more pedestrian Mossberg 500A pump at the moment. It'll do , but I do miss the S90.
I can't shoot a wheel gun for shit. I'd also consider a few other good looking pistols - must be metal, hammer must be exposed, and able to take nice wood grips.
wood this be a 1911? http://www.sigsauer.com/Products/ShowCatalogProductDetails.aspx?categoryid=38&productid=88
Oh yeah. Sig-Sauer was definately on the list for a while. I think when I eventually buy a pistol it'll be a total impulse purchase. That's how I roll. Something shiny will catch my eye and part me from my money.
Just sold one about 4 months ago for a big chunk of cash. Kind of a campy pistol. Love'm hate'm or for most, don't even know WTF they or their history. Is yours HOLLYWOD built? Bullet-Tooth Tony liked his I'm sure
Well built, kicks less than a S&W 500 revolver for obvious reasons, fits a 6'7" lineman of the Oakland Raiders better than it does my 6' scrawny ass Expensive to shoot, campy, mystical, somewhat historical, and I don't think there was one in the movie Fargo, though I've driven from Fargo to the twin cities (though I believe they are now made in Israel but I could be wrong) once. Best used to shoot malignant, narcissistic clowns and hay-wire elephants
I had a custom shop .41 mag Desert Eagle with a 12" barrel on it, used it for hunting (took my first whitetail with it). It was a cool gun, but the pimp-factor is off-the-charts with "Deagles". Once I saw the first gold one, and three homeboys pointing and grunting at it in the local funstore, I knew the shark tank had been jumped hard.
SHIT. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/iX6YvWxtrxw&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/iX6YvWxtrxw&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> The new trends in weaponry tech is fookin' mindblowing. But I'll still keep a good ol' .45 on my hip, just in case
I'm thinking of getting a .30 M1 Carbine from the CMP. Anybody got one? What's your opinion of it? Ammo availibility/cost ? Accuracy?
Heavy as a tank, not all to accurate, can't find (good affordable) holsters for them, they are hard to shoot for most because of the ergos, as in BIG. Never liked them.
Me too .. I was wondering how they pack the powder in between the bullets to obtain the right pressure needed to propel the round downrange. The box design cant be too accurate but this technology is going to get better I am sure. Heckler & Koch has done some work on caseless ammunition in the past.
