A little while ago CamoKTM and I decided to do a rally here in Australia. Cam already has an SE and I was wanting one. He had a 950 but wrote it off flipping it at 70 mph when the low guard filled with mud.

I've still got the 990 but have managed (I think) to get an SE off of ADVJake. It'll be here tomorrow, trust me.

Anyway, Cam is a genius with making stuff for bikes. Well, making stuff for anything, really. So first thing was a bash plate for the SE (posted elsewhere)

That design is finalised so he set out to make a bracket for the lights and a roadbook holder. The double lights are for long trips and the single light for day trips and the one-off race is yet to be designed.

The roadbook was the next challenge. All the parts look like this

And end up looking like this

There is the screen to come and the single race light.

It is still a work in progress. We haven't touched the suspension, fuelling or our ability yet. I don't even have a bike!

But it would be fun, and in the spirit of our attempt at racing, to keep you updated with the changes to the bikes and our rides.

Here we are in front of AdvRider. Open to names.

That's some beautiful stuff. What does Cam use to design the parts? A CAD package, drawings or what?

Looks both well designed and well crafted.

Like the stuff u see in this picture, do u have another small pouch in some similar color to hold your other nut? Sented candles? Silver thing to the right, ASS-vibrator to simulate a KTM when riding a GS?

And at least a magazine with a girl on the cover even if i dont mind how people swing it.

Didn't seem better with that 2 guy in girly hats picture.

Good looking peices for the bike BTW, easy to swap between different light setups?

If you look at about 2 o'clock on the pic with the parts the frame has a radius slot cut into it.
