Thanks, everyone. Great times will be had at Barber next weekend. Despite the 44* weather, I bundled up and took it for a very short spin so it now has all of ten miles on it. Looks like I'll breaking in yet another bike at the track.
Ordered an Eclipse tank bag for the V7. The front stood a little too tall so I cut 1.5" off the inner plastic support. I think I had essentially the same bag on my 750F back in the early '80's.
Nice Monster, Milestones, it looks good and not overdone. Seems like you're happy with it. Have you seen the prices on some of the PSle? Crazy :huh The Tuonos.....awesome bikes....haven't met many that don't like theirs.
Hey Oalvarez! Thanks for the kind words. I like the monster in this form although there are times when I feel it's a bit small for me. Love the torque and moderately comfortable riding position. I sought it out and bought it because I was having ducati withdrawals at the time. There is something both tangible and intangible about having a ducati with a termignoni exhaust trellis frame and a dry clutch in the garage. Yes, I've seen some of the prices that psle's are going for. I saw that pro italia is asking around 25k for one but most that have been selling have been 14-18k... It is a special motorcycle though and I have thought, from time to time that I should have hung onto it but most of the time, not. I'm not a collector, I love riding them I see you picked up an 1199, nice choice! I'm curious to hear your impressions and opinion

I do my best here's a couple more of mine.. first my Merch 131 CI engined special, followed by my old sprint bike (Merch120 with NOS) and then something I'm working on at the moment, 79 Ironhead in a Norton replica frame (Norley).. I have a couple of videos of them on my mates Dyno, I'll find them on Youtube when I have time, but perhaps not post them in the Italian bike thread, I'll write a build thread in the old bikes section... edit.. Ok here's the dyno run of my 888 on youtube http://youtu.be/eVX74eP9p-4 Last one, a very rare bike, the last of only seven built, I restored it with a tuned motor, a 1200 cc big bore, Cosworth pistons, 4C cams, bored carbs etc..
