My son and I are going to see how far we can get in 6 weeks time. This will happen the summer of '09. We have an '07 Patrol. I think it can be done. I'm trying to find an answer to your question too, we may be the first :huh , and that will give my 15yr. old son some thing to talk about the rest of his life. I can here him now telling his kids: Back in the day your grandpa and I did this crazy trail... It is possible to do the distance in our amount of time but as stated in other TAT stories we want to take our time and smell the roses. Our goal is to have as much fun as possible in 6 weeks and if we complete the entire 4,600 aprox. miles than that will be a bonus .

My brother, and I are wanting to do this next summer too... ha ha. Maybe we could get togather and to it as a team?!?! So far, we are planning on riding a 2006 Ural Patrol.
