    Leg got lucky.
I got a lucky warning to slow down a little bit.
It all missed all the important stuff in my leg/knee and just cut a bunch of meat and nerves.

Just some numbness and wierd feelings still exist 2+ years later. No limping. Nothing a little proper "medicine" can't help a bit with :deal
    Thanks for asking !!
When will we see YOU and your FAMILY at the Apple Valley Rally?

Fellow Riders, I'm looking to improve my riding skills this year - so I was looking for recommended NW events or hands-on classes that focus on moto skill building. It doesn't have to specifically be loose-surface skill building, but if it was that would be cool.

AJ - at AVR this fall you mentioned a class that really helped elevate your skills. What class was that?

Ride better, ride faster, ride safer and have more fun - all at the same time. That's my goal. :clap

Added Salem Speedway's Flat Track Racing this weekend. There is practice Friday for any wanna-racer types. I believe they have an open class. I enjoyed watching a couple of Triumph Bonneville's duke it out last year. They weren't the fastest, but they were first place with smiles.

Not really a Motorcycle Event, but I'm going to add it to the Calendar anyways because it's frikin awesome...and you can ride a Motorcycle to it and get preferential parking...so that's a good enough reason right? :D

Edit: Actually they do have a Car and Motorcycle Museum that are both open during the Steam Up.

Jimmy Lewis operates his own gig down in Pahrump Nevada.
KTM hired him to be part of the big KTM Adventure Rally, and he gave free (included in Rally entry price) one hour classes in a big gravel lot.

In one hour, he made me ride better, faster, safer, and have more fun riding.
I wanna go South really bad for a 2-3 day class with him, someday....

After that 1-hour class, I cannot imagine a better teacher :nod

Jimmy did a couple in Idaho last year. Pocatello area and Sun Valley IIRC. I'll keep eyes open for a 2015 return.

Maybe you should throw out an invite to Jimmy and Heather for AVR15..? :evil I'd be willing to contribute to a riding clinic and I'd hope most of the rest of the cheap FF's would too! :freaky
