VIDEO ADDED… Took a little fall in Wayne National Forest … Slowest & Hardest fall I have ever had… :muutt

I knew immediately that I Fu**ed up my shoulder, it was in so much pain… :cry

So what do you do, video yourself in pain of course :-) Eventually rode the bike to an Emergency Room in Logan Ohio… after the X-Ray, it turns out I separated my shoulder :sick

One of my first questions I asked the ER doctor was "When I Can Ride Again" :rofl:rofl:rofl

    Seriously, hope you recover quickly.

hoping to heal and get back out as fast as i can

Sounds like the beginnings of a ride report to me, and a cautionary tale as well.

Hey BMWs2Dave, you're right if that was all someone would post… I just needed some time to get the video completed… My get off was actually on Friday night... I didn't even get out of the emergency room until just after midnight Saturday morning…

The video is a cautionary warning that it's the "little" get offs that can get you sometimes… and videoing it was something I needed to do to keep my mind off the pain.. LoL

Enjoy the video and wishing you safe riding :thumb

Cool video! Hardcore dude. Glad you are on the road to recovery and back on two wheels soon. I wonder if some rope and a few carabiners could have helped? I sometimes carry that in my pack.

    Paul.

PS, marines are cool. I spent a few months at Camp Pendelton a few years back.

Good video, thanks for posting. I ride Wayne Nat'l quite a lot (when I'm actually home). My 450 xc-w is all I have taken there so far. Maybe give my 690 and 1190 a shot there this summer. After watching your vid I ordered my upper crash bars. Hope you heal well and see you on the trail there sometime.

Thanks for the well wishes… Wayne is a great place to ride your 690 and 1190… I have rode Monday Creek Trails dozens & dozens of times on the GSA…best trails I have ridden here in Ohio… this was just a silly get off that bit me hard… but as soon as I can get back on the bike, I will be back riding the trails in Wayne… hope to bump into you on the trails….

Thanks for posting. It is a reminder that even on a tame trail injury is possible. I'm going to get my son who is new to riding some better gear.
