seat lock for 91 gspd

    Where can I get a seat lock for a 91 gspd??Right now the seat is bungied down so it doesn't fly off.

    Mine is the same , so if Bobs has them let us know as he ships to Oz.

    Util then I supose I will just have to sit on it to keep it down .

    realted to this, my seat latch is still OK but is missing the swinging cover. i was wondering if that's (cover and rivet) available separately or does it come as part of the latch.

    I just replaced the whole seat lock mechanism on my 94R100GSPD.
    42 bucks from the dealer with a new set of keys. The plastic is not a great design but as the bike is older I expect to replace these minor deatils from time to time.

    Use max bmw to look up the part number. Use chicago bmw to buy. you get 20%.

    Thanks for the info,I gave up the search while I'm trying to chase the demons out of the battery/and or starter.

    yeah, if you're willing to wait for 2 months. that's about the time it took for a simple order of oil filter kits to get to me :confused
