Last Monday we had three Versys at Suches and I did not have my camera. That would have been a record :rofl

Why did I go and buy another Versys ? Cannot go into the basement because there she sets all hot and red. Cannot keep my hands off her and she returns the favor with her sweet tone. So nice and trim between my legs like no other thing could ever be. It must be true love because I love no other just want to ride her over and over. At the days end I am so weak but a good nights sleep and I will be back at my peak. Ready to ride her again and again. :1drink :1drink :1drink :rofl :rofl

Looks like Kawasaki has pulled all of the hard accessories for the Versys from their website. Weird. :huh

I ordered a 16-tooth front sprocket today. I can't believe how short the gearing is on this bike; it reminds me of driving my Dad's 71 Challenger with 4.30 gears and a 4-speed.

I'm also hoping to "win" a handful of Caterpiller o-rings on Ebay. They're supposed to work great as a penny-tech throttle lock.

Next on the list is an MRA Vario screen.

Is there a tasteful radiator protector/screen for the Versys?

O rings work pretty good for a throttle lock. The gearing is perfect for riding the mountains like I do most of the time. For touring it would help to be geared higher.

I sure was wishing I had heated grips this weekend. I foolishly went off with only one pair of gloves, and not the warm ones, into a weekend with thunderstorms forcast. :patch

I wear heated gear and now am spoiled. The heated grips kelp the palms of my hands warm but the top of them still got cold. Heated gloves are perfect. :clap

I like the RoMatech radiator guard, was simple to install.

Have any of you guys ridden both the Versys and the F650GS Dakar? I have the Dakar and it is a great bike, but I really like the Versys and can pick up one for a really good price at the moment. I am going in for a test ride later in the week, but what I would like is some opinions from people that have ridden both?? Any feedback would be much appreciated as I am really interested in this bike!:super

It took me about a week to get mine. Arrived on 5/8. We thought we ordered red trim and it came in black and that's the only color available at this time apparnently. I sent the trim back.

If you thought you were going to get red trim, check it out when it arrives. It's probably black.

Who painted their pannier trim panels red? Pics? What did you use for paint?
