Has anyone done business with State Motor in Parma Ohio?

They apparently import and "modernize" Dnepr sidecar rigs. Interestingly they offer a Dnepr-VW sidehack powered by a 1600cc Dual-Port VW engine.

Has anyone had any dealings with them?

Assclown, Russian mafia, con man, scum bag. RUN!!! Ordered parts from him 3 times, fu**ed me each time, junk parts, months to ship. so called "kits" are just a collection of miss matched reject parts.

I just found this today. Better late than never, this is a great report on Yuri from a trusted source: E-bay. This guy even posted his phone number and welcomes calls from anyone about Yuri!!!

Yuri the clown has a web-site called Dneprworld, He also sells under the name State Motor, and Cassicsidecars. He has almost single handedly ruined Dnepr's reputation in the North America.

One item in Yuri's defense - sort of. If you buy ONLY a sidecar from him - and pick it up yourself - you won't get screwed too(?) bad. But for God's sake do NOT buy a cycle from him!

I've met the guy and he is literally the Russian version of the crooked used car salesman with the pencil-thin mustache and loud plaid suit!

I was ready to buy a Dnepr from Yuri until I found this site and a couple others. Does anyone have anything GOOD to say about him? I was going to drive there and look the bike over before buying, but it sounds like much of the trouble is not visible.

I don't understand how he can be so villified on the internet and yet still have 100% ratings for Classic Sidecar and 98.4% ratings for State Motor on ebay.

Ebay ratings can be manipulated. See if You can find anybody who has had a positive experience buying a rig from Yuri, I couldn't.
