Sumbitch will hold alot of wood too, another 2and a half 3 feet of bed I'll really be able to load er up.
I thought about it a little bit but Then I'd be tempted to overload it. I'd get a dump trailer first, which I'd do soon if I could make some $$$$$ with it.
I haven't been totally idle for the last month but not much has happened worthy of pictures. I did go shopping yesterday for supplies to complete the bed and plan to get that ball rolling this week. This is the space that stuff will fill. Here's the new engine waiting to go in.
I'll be pulling the camper for the first time in this configuration next week and am excited to see how it performs. I should be able to get much more out of this thing than was possible with the other transmission. I'm still convinced it's geared too low and am resonably sure that it could pull a lower numbered gear ratio and still perform towing the camper.
This is cool. I like what you are doing with it. Do you have a full view side shot of it for comparison?
This is one of the best threads here. It pre-dated the shiny things catergoty, doesn't it? I love everything about this truck/bus except one tiny thing, red lights, lack of, visible from the sides at the rear. The only red light you have visible from the side is at the tops of the cab, only halfway back. In poor visibility somone approaching from either side might not think the second half of the truck is there.
There will be more lights, probably set into the angled part of the body. A light bar will go across the top and side directionals as well. Thanks for the props.
