I'm in here's my '76 V1000 Convert Before- After-:huh Stupid Oak tree fell in front of us as I was minding my own business riding down a street near my home August 3rd '09!!! Result was one totaled Goose and one almost totaled rider. Doc had me back together by this past spring, I'll have her back together by this next spring .
My Friend .... The Guzzis are some of the most bomb proof bikes out there . I own 2 and besides tires , oil and the regular servicing they require nothing except to be ridden . Its like anything .....shit happens but fear not the Guzzi ... you will fall quickly for one and not regret it .
Hi Everybody. This is my Guzzi. It started life as a 1988 Mille GT, but there is not so much of the original bike left, as you can see. It is an absolute hoot to ride and handles surprisingly well! Yeeha Rich C
It's terribly cold out in Charlotte. I miss my former '97 1100i Sport terribly. I only have a couple of old Jap projects in the garage. Been looking through this tread at work all day and now I'm all hot and bothered with Guzzi lust. My poor girlfriend won't be able to walk tomorrow.
Hi BoThe Traveller, The tank is the same as a Ducati SS Imola on the outside, but with a different inner to suit the Guzzi Frame. These were made on special order by a local (Australia) guy who I believe no longer does them!It Is Fiberglass. The seat and tail are also based on SS Ducati, but have also been modified to suit. The battery is in a custom carrier right under the seat. It is coloured black so you hardy notice it. Its an Odyssey AGM so it can be layed down flat to show less profile to the side. Rich C.
Mechanic, that's sweet! Got any more pics? What's the deal on your rear suspension? I don't see a cantilevered shock. Are you just running one on the left? I love the modern front end and brake with vintage wheel!
Here's my 1972 Moto Guzzi Eldorado. She's a reliable old girl that I have used for tours to Gaspe Bay, Labrador City and the Saguenay Region (among many other places). Until this year I used to put a sidecar on for the winter, but the constant salt bath was too hard on her. Here's a January video trip in eastern Ontario http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f6Lh1Dtjm_A Nick
dilandau - My airhawk seat saves me on my V11. Plus I can transfer it to my other rides when need be. Lets me complain about other body parts getting sore waspp - Nice looking Guzzi's. All of em. Did you fit the battery up under the seat on your T3?
