Sand and dunes await participants at the departure of this first step of Oilibya Rally of Morocco 2013.
    For the
    first kilometers
, crossing of little dunes. Then, a beautiful part of navigation on many parallel tracks allow
    them to join the
Oued Draa and go in it for several kilometers before hitting the first dunes. Prepare shovels
and plates to cross the splendid erg Cheggaga
    from southwest to northeast!
    Then
, participants will discover a beautiful valley by crossing tracks more or less fast and will find the pass to

reach the finish. Copilots will have hard job for this first

Does anyone know how the Baja Route compares to the Rally Route?

Reason I ask is because they (Baja) have already started and appear to be following the main route. Does this mean that there will be tracks for the front runners to follow for the entire stage today? Or, will the Baja group peel off at some point?

Then the Leaders will be passing people? The Baja group doesn't look that far along.

Following Sam and Helder could be tricky - they have swopped numbers (Helder didn't want 6 as that was the number he had when he had a bad crash) - only on live tracking it still has Sam as 5 and Helder as 6; but on the results display it is Sam 6 and Helder 5 - terefore not sure on live tracking who is who - other than Helder is off 2 mins before Sam, so we need to see who it shows starting first - Helder or Sam?

    - if you know what I mean - but I'm not really sure if I know what I mean :rofl:rofl

I would suggest to read the name and ignore the number as they haven't changed biks, so the tracking will be on the on the bike and therfore the original number:thumb

They are all bunched at the start of the special and probably will start any moment.
