Hi everyone, I'm a newby to this forum and really enjoy checking out the posts. Anyway in March I will be able to sell 27ltr tanks for the KTM950SE in Black, Orange or Translucent they should be approx $800-850Aust dollars plus shipping, if you are interested to know more PM me and I'll keep you posted I also have Mufflers available for the KTM twins available for $900Aud for the pair, alloy canisters with billet endcaps very trick and good value. If this is in the wrong section please let me know as I don't want offend any other vendor on here. Best Regards Sutto
Thanks Sutto, I am sure you will get a lot of takers, but one of the bare basic things we would all need I am sure, is a darn pic.
I'll keep an eye on this one for the cans.... Maybe made in Wodonga, or is it Wangaratta? If the bloody VTR would sell I wouldn't have to wait as long. Oh yeah.... this thread is useless without pix! If the Adv tanks fit the SE, will 27 litre SE tanks fit the Adv???? That'd be cool. And much more sensiblefor most of than 42 litres.
Made in Carboor which is about 50 odd ks from Wangaratta.. Not sure if the Adventure tanks do fit the SE without some major modifications so wouldn`t expect the SE tanks to fit straight up on the Adventurer either.. I think the Adventurer is top heavy enough compared to the SE so would rather see the twin tanks with the main fuel down low both sides.. I think the SE with the larger capacity tank will hold it well.. Sure hope so anyway...
I for one think that 27 liters is just too much... sort of defeats the purpose of the SE. The stock tank is approx 14 liters, 20 should be perfect. But I also think Aqualine builds beautiful stuff, and they may have a trick up their sleeve to keep it reasonably slim. If not, I'll have to pass on this one... And once again... this thread is worthless without pictures... so whatever you got, let us see the development shots!
maybe but aqualine are in Oz and we all want 4-500km fuel range so thats what they build mostly. I guess you dont have to fill it up. Anyway we are all talking crap untill we actually see one
Well I think if they want to sell it in the States, they're going to find a pretty cold reception to such a large tank. But as you said, we're getting way ahead of ourselves.
Cant see them doing it but Aqualine do offer two size tanks for a couple of their bike range.. Maybe a larger tank of say 27 - 30 litres and a smaller 20 - 22 litres for those who want it would be nice for the SE..
