Two wheels, a frame, engine, controls (excluding clip-ons), and a moderately comfortable riding position. Why bother with fairings or torturing yourself in the hunched position?

Calling all: FZ's, CB's, GS's, KZ's, XS's (getting old school :D), Speed Triples, Monsters, those other Italian bikes, I guess the XR by H-D?, etc.

If you don't need to remove a hunk plastic to get to the engine, let's see 'em! Just another thread to post awesome bikes and brag who's is the sexiest.

I've got a nice 2003 Honda CB750, but what else I need, several months of the year, is some weather protection. I have become such a cold weather weakling that I've even been looking at the BMW C 650 GT (heated grips, heated seat, electronically controlled windshield).

B-E-A-utiful!:raabia I was hard pressed between the FZ8 and this sexy beast a year ago. I just couldn't justify spending $3000 more for the CB1000R so I walked out with the FZ8. I still love the FZ8 but this one was winking at me hardcore while I struggled making a decision. She still calls for me and so does her hot sister, the new CB1100.

So far I'm loving the Ol' Hondas as I'm a SOHC lover.

The original modern naked? Has clip-ons, but they're not down by your knees...

I love me some naked bikes!

I've got some vintage Shoei hard bags for this one.

Nice Magna, HondaFanatic. Not sure it qualifies as a Naked though. I think that would be categorized as more of a power cruiser.

Yeah, you're right. My controls are about 3 inches too far up to be considered a standard. But she is a naked...and I just love posting pictures of her [IMG]

My trusty scruffy M900 Monster. I agree, nothing else is needed (unless you want to carry a passenger very far).

Now that winter is over, I'm glad to have no fairings. Generally about December I start dreaming about wind protection...

I agree with everything you said, except I need more than a moderately comfortable riding position, and am willing to give up some handling to get it.

Uh, no offense, but it sounds like you're in the wrong thread, Jerry.

They call it a naked, but that fairing always looked like a D-cup bra to me.

Still love the bike to death, and it's actually replaced my trusty, reliable and well-farkled Sprint ST as a touring bike too, just have to stop for fuel more often and plan routes a bit differently, but it's worth it because it's just so much more fun to ride, and actually more comfortable for everything but high speed sustained slabbing, which I simply avoid doing.
