That exhaust note sure sounds aggressive. Very rippy.

Anybody else see cruise control buttons on the left bar in that video?

    Hmm.

I was under the impression that DCT modes are controlled from the right bar and shifting is controlled from the left hand bar paddle shifters.

The reason i asked was that big square button has "SET" written on it..

    'bout fuckin' time ... :clap

From one of the articles linked,

"Increased displacement, power, but not a fat cow

While certain adventure riders say that a 450-600cc displacement is the right way to go for a true adventure machine, the CRF1000L Africa Twin promises quite a lot. We feared that the new bike would follow the bigger displacement trend and arrive as a fat cow that's truly no good on hard trails.

However, with so much CRF DNA infused in this build, Honda managed to keep both dimensions and weight at bay and deliver a bike that looks equally nimble on the road and in the mud. Wide, flat bars with handguards and plenty of dash room for satellite navigation or a road book are standard features for the new CRF1000L Africa Twin."

Is that one little hole where both cylinders are gonna breathe from? Or, is this another engine, just for showing off the DCT?

If it is the AT, this should make for good mixing of the fuel considering the velocity the air will be traveling through it.

I think you are right. If it has paddle shifters they aren't going to be thumb operated, they'll be near the fingers. That looks like Cruise Control.

Considering how most new bikes are embracing FlyByWire, CC is essentially a programming change and add a button.

In the video at 7 seconds in, the rider reaches for something under what i think is the black turn signal button as he is decelerating, I'm guessing paddle shifter below, then the videos changes screen

Looks like ride-by-wire, single throttle body, and threaded valve lash adjusters. Sound clips sound like a fairly low rpm motor tuned for torque a la the NC's.

You can hear the traction control kick in on the very first clip - controlling wheel spin in the dirt!

And coming to the US !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone know if the rims are tubeless?
