Posting for a buddy and inmate - Matt - who is currently somewhere out that way, without internet coverage.

He texted me, looking for an inmate who lives near-ish Farmington or Taos NM, that would let him stop by and change this oil this afternoon 8-11-13.

He will check this thread or PMs sent to mgbgt89 when he gets internet coverage later today.

Alternatively, he can be texted at 765-425-six five eight eight.

He has tools but needs a pan and someone to discard the used oil.

He and his girlfriend are on a western tour, two up, on a KTM LC4. :eek1

    Thanks.

Most auto parts stores have recycle tanks in back and will take your used oil.
An LC4 holds a couple of quarts...maybe get a disposable oven tin like you'd use to cook a turkey - to drain the oil into.

I am nearish F-town, about 30 miles North. I should be around in later afternoon, heading out to ride shortly. :D He can give me a shout if he still needs a place later in the day.

If he misses Gale, and gets to Taos, he's welcome here. I'll be in the shop all day today (Mon).

Gale has received him, fed and watered him, and they will service the bike today. Thanks all.

Sounds like he's moving across above us; BUT if he heads south toward Santa Fe or ABQ, there are plenty of us in the area. I myself should be around home much of today and tomorrow if they need something along the way, including use of the garage and tools.

All good here , bike is now suffering from too much TLC :lol3, but Matt/Alex are both smiling and will be hitting the road to Taos in minutes, I think 84 to 64 and then on to Clayton ,NM they say.

Many thanks for all the offers to help this neat couple.
