Totally spur of the moment. Decided to ride LHC today. Will be driving down from Granby. Should be there about 11:30. White Chevy with WR250F #51. Never been there before so it'll be fun exploring! Inmates are welcome!

Ahhhhh! Just what the doctor ordered! Thoroughly enjoyed riding LHC today. I'm so bad with names....Thanks go out to Advrider on Husaberg who showed us around. Appreciate the tour! Great BIG THANKS to burly KTM guy who helped us wrangle BuilderScott's "lightweight" DRZ back up the hill & onto the trail. Scott, glad you're OK & that pretty lil DR of yours finally has a scratch on it! :lol3

I'm tired. And sore. Was a good day. :thumb Thanks for making the trip Pat!

Yeah, my 10 year old DRZ finally has some scratches, as does my 42 year old body...

Not exactly...BuilderScott washed out his front end & did not "stay the trail." He & bike landed about 40' down very steep embankment off 287b. Took about an hour to get the bike back on the trail. (Push, pull, ride for 3 feet, fall over & repeat!) We could smell anti freeze & Scott needed to get his kids so we moseyed back to the truck & headed home.

The GoPro captured the moment, including me riding back looking for Scott who is waving his hands and hollering "Pat!" While I putz right on by! :rofl We watched the crash 5 or 6 times but it didn't look nearly as gnarly on playback as real life!

That was my first visit to LHC. I'll be back & ready to explore the single track. Thanks again for showing us around Guy!

Oh man.. I've always thought that would be a crappy place to fall. Lucky you stopped when you did. :eek1

As usual, video doesn't come close to really showing what a drop that is.
