I did my North America leg in 2010 using 6 months of my long service leave. I plan to head to South America for 3-6 months in the spring / summer of 2012 and checking to see if any other Aussies may be over that way, or, if anyone else is interested in coming along. My plan similar to the last is to fly in, buy a bike, tour, sell it and fly home, rather than shipping one over and back which has too many variables and costs. Countries on the list are Chile, Argentina, Peru, Ecuador and Colombia with possible extensions to Venezuela and Brazil.
