I'd be up for a "beastish" type ride Tomorrow. I don't have a beast but the 625 in SUMO trim can pretend like a beast, if the speeds are below 80 and pit stops can come around 60 to 90 mi.

The dirt setup is out of action till I get some new rubber and I think I've been sold, by some of you on here, to go tubliss.

Really looking forward to this if it happens as now planned?

This will be a Beast ride so a run through the abandoned train tunnel will be out of the question.............maybe.

Second Saturday in June will be the date if its not raining so put it on your calendar.

Tim and others,
Yes it's on for second weekend in June if weather permits.

Nothing special about this ride especially with all the hardwoods being clear cut in so many areas.
Dirt roads and pavement in the country.
Targets along the way are riding on the Old Federal Road (http://www.encyclopediaofalabama.org....jsp?id=h-2999)
Community of Burnt Corn, maybe the train tunnel, stop at the state lake, see progress at the Haynes Island Ferry, Stop at Clairborn Lock and Dam facility, maybe the caves if the gate is open.

Bike choices? Can be done entirely on a Gold Wing.
Jeff done it on his last trip but he's a special rider.

More as the date gets closer.

Hope to have pictures and comments on the Smokey Mountain trip Morris R. lead by Tuesday night.
