two weeks and no bargains? unthinkable. lets fire this thread up with my 71 honda cb750, 8900 miles. motor turns over, integral tank in the fiberglass tracy body is nice, yamaha front end? oh well, it was $1000.00 well spent.

Re: those old Honda bikes on this page - I don't know how far they would go back to, but a word of caution if you ever take one to a dealership... Way back when I was young and didn't know how to work on bikes I had a CL200 which I guess needed a tire or something, so we took it to a dealership.

They replaced the twist-off gas cap with a key-locking one as some type of recall notice, and I hated that thing. If you let a Honda dealership have the bike at all, keep your gas cap with you; don't let those f@%$^'s take it.

This is so ridiculous, it's awesome. Make sure you get a nice open-face metal flake helmet to match.

That appears to be an original exhaust on it too. That's probably worth a grand by itself. Nicely done.

That's quite a sissy bar.....you have to keep that on there.:clap I'd use some "chrome" powdercoat to keep cost down.I'll be testing some High Heat powdercoat on some exhaust parts but will take a while before I can call it good or not.

Lets see the sword handle close up, wondering if they used proper cutler's rivets in brass.

Hell, that's what I would probably sell mine for (if I were to part with it), but mine has 75K on it.

    Not in modern times, but,

    $900 in '79 It's a '75 Ducati 860 GT, the way it's pictured is after I changed the look from stock-square style.

    $250 in the mid 80's .1971 Ducati 450R/T

    $600 in early 80's. It's a '62 Bonnieville.

    $250 in '78 it's a '67 TR6 R that I made some modifications to.

I still have these. They're in my permanent collection.
