The sanity / mind answers are going to get repetitive and cliche by about the 100th one, aren't they?

Maybe not - let's see how many others think it's being clever.

At this point I am just following to see how many other people have found blue handled channel lock pliers, think so far there are 3 or 4 of us.

Me and my buddy went on ride for about 2 hours, he was on his YZ490 and me sand surfing my turd. nothing spectacular happens but on way home i see a kickstarter laying the in the middle of the trail just as i pass it, i turn around to pick it up and my buddy rolls up, kills the yamaha and says "Someone isn;t lucky today :rofl i hope that be my spare!" and then he goes to kick his bike and "Awww fuck!" he has no kickstarter. All I told him was "you are SOO lucky we didn;t have that cigarette break about 7 miles that way," pointing off in the desert.

So his kickstarter vibrated off and then I happen to find it on accident the way home and somehow he didn;t kill the bike since we left his house. And there is only like a million different ways to get home but this one time we happen to take the same trail back

    Now that's what I call a gr-r-reat find!

Most useful thing I've ever found while riding? Easy, the $73 or so in scattered cash I picked up alongside the road. To be fair, I was on my bicycle at the time, but hey it is riding.

The most useful thing I've ever lost while riding? Easy again. My Eureka pup tent. I hadn't yet mastered the art of bungee and it wasn't on the back of my bike when I got to the campsite in Seneca Rocks. Doubling back didn't find it and I think it was worth about $89, so the cash didn't quite make up for the loss. I think I ended up staying in one of the cabins, with friends who showed me mercy.

This resulted in me buying a cheaper, larger and better Made in China tent which has served me well for about 10 years now, and I can easily transport it on my bike, even my MZ Baghira.

A deer rifle, fully loaded, at Bean Canyon up on the ridge. Left it alone figuring the owner was somewhere near.....

Two weeks later went back up there and it's still there, so used the sling and rode off.....ya ever tried riding single track thru some trees with a rifle slung across yer back???

Had the local Sheriff dept run the numbers, came out clean.... WTF??

How do you walk off and leave your hunting rifle behind?

Scooped up a Fossil wristwatch lying in the road while on my way to work. Had been run over as strap was twisted and crystal scratched. I straightened the strap which was exactly the right length. Still have the watch.
