I have not seen one on here, so why not start one. This is a very unique bike, but a blast to ride. Let's share pictures, tips, mods, farkles, and general shenanigans. I will start with a few pictures of my 450 XC-W Six Days. In action at Carnegie last weekend:
Gorgeous bike. What have you done so far to it? I am redoing mine, have a big package of parts coming tomorrow and will start the transformation next week. 1) Full cockpit redo 2) Suspension to Super Plush 3) FMF Silencer upgrade Will update this thread as the build progresses....
i was just thinking today if there was any photos of every years six day edition comparing bikes, looks and graphics. Any ideas?
I'll join the party. 2014 350 XCF-W. Love this bike. From what I understand its 1 of the 500 that were imported for 2014.
Love this one. UPS delivered a box of goodies for my 2010 last night, those Fastway hand guards were included
Hey guys! Im looking at a 2011 450 xcw 6 days edition, anything you can tell me about the bike and what to look for or any advice at all is apreciated. has around 3000 miles on it is what the seller says. what am I looking at as far as maintence coming up and is 4300$ too much? Also this has a street title and that is the main reason im looking at this bike, I pretty much ride dual sport type stuff. KTM is new to me and Im coming from a jap bike background, only heard good things about these bikes. and this is a massive improvement over my current ride of a 1997 Yamaha xt350.
I'll add to this as well as I just picked up my first KTM this week - 2015 KTM EXC 500 SIX Days. Can't wait to get out there and ride it - what a beast!
Just like back in 2012 I made the mistake of visiting the local KTM dealer before Christmas again this year. The 2012 XCF W had over 300 hours and almost 9K miles on it. This one followed me home right after New Years. Farkels include: Integrated stop/turn/tail light unit from ebay (good stuff), high/low headlight switch, horn, front turn lights, Rekluse from the 2012, 14/48 gearing, aluminum skid plate, and new chain guide. This one has 40 hours and over a thousand miles already. The only problem I have noticed is the desire to keep it clean.
