I found myself unexpectedly out of work for the day, and decided to see someplace new. I pulled up google and searched for attractions in WI. The Devil's Punchbowl...that'll do.

Some info on the Punchbowls mysterious and spooky nature:

About 45 minutes from Eau Claire if I avoid the interstate.

Here is the bike all ready to rip

Had a nice ride down some country roads, but it was still pretty cold so I didn't feel like stopping for pictures.

    Here is the parking area/entrance

Here you see the roaring river that feeds the falls

And then it was into the Punchbowl

A really beautiful place that I never would have found if not for the interwebz

We are heading up May 15 to ride thru MO, IA, into Wisconsin, around Lake Superior, and back. Have quite a few places on our bucket list for this ride, just wondering was the Punchbowl worth the trip? Also, any recommendations for some boys from the South to not miss?:ear

I wouldn't go too far out of my way to see it, but if you are passing near Menomonie, WI I would check it out. Menomonie is a pretty cool old town to see as well.

We may be in that area, depends on how we are doing after going around the Lake. May head west to North Dakota (guy i am riding with has been in 49 states, missing ND!), or dropping straight south. Also depends on me getting my passport back from renewal or not. I do want to go around MSP so that may work out great! Thanks again.

Very interesting. We have a Devil's Punchbowl in So Cal, too.
