Five years of dreaming, a solid year of planning and here I am, Brisbane international airport.

My trusty DR has been in DR Joes hands getting a make over. She's sporting a custom made fairing. Joes craftsmen ship and attention for detail has paid off, dispute me freaking out she was not going to be ready to meet shipping agents time line.

My mate Jock helped me out with getting her packed into the factory DR crate and transport to the airport. I had allowed a week for the crating process. It was done in an hour or so.

Hodgo had put me onto DSM8. Don't tell Dave but Hodgo speaks very highly of him. I have also been in contact with Adventureposer who has been very helpful. Nice to know there are like minded folk at the other end.

So my plan is to ride from L.A as far south as my resilience will take me, turn around and head as far North as I can go. Pole to Pole, all going well.
I think it would be cool, in reality dam chilly to put a foot in each polar circle.

Wether I get there only time will tell. Stay tuned if you inclined and we will see. Yippee!

I am in Dana Point, 50 miles south of LA. Let me know if you are going to be in my town on Wed, Thurs or Fri. I can take you on a ride and out for a beer.

Nope in Pasadena, the 10'x30' sign saying east/west 210 was not big enough for him to see.
    Went west instead of east...

I know but what do you expect, the drive on the wrong side of the road and use the metric system...

    :huh

When I first moved here I couldn't turn left for shit and often went the wrong way east/west, north/south for a good while. IT TAKES SOME GETTING USED TO.

And you still have issues with tighten and loosen.
That said I will make you sit on your hands next time you help change a tire...
