A few weeks ago I woke up to an amazing email:
"Urgent Request" Bags needed. it was from Cyril Despres!!
I made a custom bag that fits above the Headlight for a few needed items.
We overnighted the box of goodies to him in Andorra.
The image is dark but there is a Wolfman Logo Above the Headlight.
    A True Honor for sure.
    Go Cyril!!!

Getting ready to order some bags to complete my 2011 DRZ 400S ADV set up. Gearing up for a CDR run this coming summer.

    Currently;
    Wolfman Original Racks
    Teton Saddlebags
    Enduro Tank Bag
    Enduro Carry All
    Enduro Tool Bag
    Two Wolf Bottle Holders

    Ordering;
Mini Beta Plus Rear Bag (Replacing my Enduro Duffel Bag)
    The Hoops (Awesome Idea)
    Enduro Fender Bag
Top Pocket (for my GS Rainier Tank Bag)

Now the question is, are the Rocky Mountain Bags worth the switch from my Tetons or would it be 'too much' additional weight and size?

Additionally, the Hoops states they must be removed when using other saddle bags (Tetons/Rocky Mountain) but is this really necessary? Being only 2 1/2 inches in width will the saddlebags not hang over them reasonably enough? I can see a problem on the exhaust side due to compressing against the muffler but I feel they should work at least on the left side.

Thanks Eric for great stuff :clap

Oh, any 2014 ADV code would be appreciated before ordering this week. Thanks

    Hey MotoBoss,

Eric is out so I will help you out on this one. The Rocky Mountains are probably going to be too much for the DRZ. They are almost twice the size of the Tetons and if you fill them on that bike it may just be too much. However, if you have a big bike and you want one set of bags to do double duty, the Rocky Mountains are perfect and can compress down to a smaller load for the smaller bike...does that make sense? :D

As far as the hoops bag goes, we do recommend that they be removed, but we have seen people use them on the non-pipe side as you mention. Hope that helps, thanks for choosing Wolfman:clap

Thanks Dusty. I am kinda interested in the Rocky Mountain bags as I want to go to soft bags on my GS. Using them on the DRZ would be a plus but would be like bb's on a shoe box :lol3 which was what I was afraid of. I'll stick with the Tetons and order the Mini Beta for a tent bag.

    Order in :clap

Let me ask, can the "over the seat straps' , on my Tetons be replaced with Velcro straps like on the Monarch Pass bags?

    Thanks

Hey, can one of your bottle holder thingys strap onto monarch pass bags without too much drama? I saw that it will on top, but I want it on the more useful side.

    Thanks

Truth, No. The Monarch Pass Saddlebags were not designed to have them on the side.

    Hey Wolfy,

How do you think the Rainier will fit my KTM640 ADV? Too big? I see it has removable components to adjust to type of ride, day trip or longer etc.
From what i read it will be ok, but wanted you opinion.
    Cheers from Oz.

Just received my Wolfman Hoop's and Tank Bag Top Pocket bags. I must say I LOVE THEM!

The Hoop's are everything I need to carry my extra tools while making use of the saddle brackets on my DRZ. My Teton bags fit nicely over them and give me some extra room. Next up is the Beta Mini to complete my set up.

The Top Pocket for my Rainier tank bag (on my GS) is REALLY a nice addition. Having a dedicated bag for my spare gloves is great!

Now if you'd only come up with a Top Pocket for my Enduro tank bag :deal

    Keep it up!

    New for 2014 the Blackhawk Tank Bag PN-M0305<?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" /><o:p></o:p>
    <o:p> </o:p>
Wolfman is excited to announce a new tank bag in our product line. The Blackhawk. <o:p></o:p>
Inspired by customer desire, the Blackhawk Tank Bag fits in between the compact Enduro Tank Bag and Explorer Lite. Its 8 liter capacity and trim lines give it great clearance for off-road riding. The Curved base contours snugly to most sloped tanks. The foam structure gives the Blackhawk “Soft-Rigidity”, allowing the bag to flex. <o:p></o:p>
    <o:p> </o:p>
The new style Map/Clear Pocket is a step forward in versatility. We have taken the traditional “Map Pocket” and made it more useful to riders who use electronics, we have incorporated a strip of Loop material inside the pocket, and include a strip of Adhesive “Hook” to attach on your electronics ( Smart Phone, GPS, Spot, etc.) so they stay put.<o:p></o:p>
    <o:p> </o:p>
Items can be kept organized with one stealthy outside pocket and an internal mesh pocket under the top. The Silver interior makes it easy to see the contents of the bag. A small removable/adjustable Bunji-cord across the top provides a convenient spot for gloves and such while fueling. (Please don't ride with your gloves under the shock-cord or you may never see them again.)<o:p></o:p>

The Blackhawk mounts securely to the tank via our 4-point harness. The bag also incorporates fore and aft flexibility allowing the user to get the perfect bag placement on the tank. The Blackhawk utilizes the same 4-point harness as used on the Explorer Lite, Rainier, and Large Expedition Tank bags, making switching out bags a snap.<o:p></o:p>
    <o:p> </o:p>
    Features Include:<o:p></o:p>
-New style Removable Map/Clear Pocket with interior loop strip to stabilize Electronics, remotes. (1 Strip of Adhesive Hook–Included)<o:p></o:p>
-Adjustable Bunji-cord, Ideal for gloves while fueling up. (Not intended for use while bike is in motion…meaning we ain’t buying you new gloves.<o:p></o:p>
-Large #10 YKK Main Zipper with extended Flap to keep the elements out.<o:p></o:p>
    -Subtle Front zippered Pocket.<o:p></o:p>
    -Reflective carry handle and sides.<o:p></o:p>
    -Exterior D-Rings (For M903 Shoulder Strap-Sold separately.)<o:p></o:p>
    -Interior Zippered Mesh Pocket.<o:p></o:p>
    -Interior Key Clip<o:p></o:p>
-1” 4 point Mounting Harness same as used on the: Rainier, Large Expedition, and Explorer Lite Tank Bags.<o:p></o:p>

Hey it's Jade from the rawhyde trip recently. I was on the f8 with Alaska plates. One of the things I've been irritated with is the huge gs tank bag when I'm riding off-road. Besides the fact it got destroyed on that trip it's not up to the challenge of my riding style. I was wondering what tank bag you would recommend for my bike? Also do you offer one that is water proof? Here in Alaska the weather can change rather quickly. Any help would be great. Thanks Jade
